As the cold descends upon us, it is a good time to remember what to do if you see someone outside that needs a hand.

If you see someone that needs help, please call 211. If you see someone in an emergency situation, please call 911.

We want to make sure we are keeping folks as safe as possible while this cold rolls through. No one should be left out in the street.

For access to shelter availability, winter warming bus hours and routes and drop in centers and hours, please visit the Sector Response page on the Homeward Trust website: https://homewardtrust.ca/sector-emergency-response/. This will have the most up to date information on how to help our most vulnerable friends.

If you would like to donate warm clothing and outdoor wear, please check in with individual agencies for their needs.

Stay safe and warm, everyone!
