November is Housing Month in Edmonton, a time to shine a light on the work being done across our community to ensure everyone has a safe, stable place to call home. We’re proud to be part of this important work, supporting individuals and families as they transition out of homelessness and into welcoming homes.

Every piece of furniture we receive—whether it’s a couch, dresser, kitchen table or TV stand—has the power to transform someone’s living space. Your donations help turn empty apartments into safe, comfortable homes, giving people the stability and dignity they need to start fresh.

Month-Long Donation Drive
This month, we’re encouraging our community to donate gently used furniture and home goods. In recognition of their generosity, each furniture donation receives a 10% off coupon for use in-store (one per donor, cannot be combined with other discounts). Every item helps someone take the next step toward a new beginning.

Find the Truck Contest
Our trucks are out in the community throughout November! Spot one, snap a photo, tag @FindYEG and #FindTheTruck, and you could win an Axe Monkeys gift certificate.

Free Webinars and Learning Opportunities
Housing Month features a series of free webinars highlighting solutions to homelessness and housing challenges. Find will be presenting on Monday, November 17, sharing insights into how furniture donations and community support help create lasting impact.

Site Tours and Community Events
Housing Month also offers opportunities to explore supportive housing programs across Edmonton. These site tours provide a closer look at how safe, stable housing combined with wraparound supports help individuals and families move from homelessness into secure homes, offering guidance, resources and hope for a brighter future.
