On August 15, we’re celebrating National Thrift Shop Day—and this year, we’re making it bigger than ever.

FIND is teaming up with the Bissell Thrift Shop and the Mustard Seed Thrift Shop for a full-day thrift adventure across the city. It’s a chance to shop preloved, explore different stores, and be part of something that supports the community in a real, tangible way.

A thrift adventure (with a passport)

We’re bringing back the thrift passport this year, available at all participating locations.

Pick one up, visit two or more stores on August 15, and you’ll be entered into a draw for some great prizes. Simple as that.

Thrifting is one of those small actions that adds up in a big way.

Every item that gets reused stays out of landfill. Every purchase supports community programs. And at FIND, proceeds help support furnish homes for people transitioning out of homelessness.

That means the couch you FIND, the table you bring home, or the dresser you fall in love with will support someone’s fresh start!

What we love about this day is how it brings people together—staff, shoppers and partner organizations all part of the same ecosystem of reuse and community support.

Across FIND, Bissell, and Mustard Seed locations, you’ll see different spaces, different styles, and the same shared goal: supporting people in our community. 

Whether you’re a regular thrifter or it’s your first time stepping into one of our stores, National Thrift Shop Day is the perfect excuse to explore.
