Find Boutique on Jasper is excited to be hosting 4 local artists in house this Saturday May 4th.

Come down to the store between 10am and 5pm and meet some amazing local talents and see their work. All their art will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Artists onsite:
Michelle Ramoutar

Michelle has always been interested in all art disciplines and is inspired by nature.

She has accomplished a Visual Art/ Fine Art Diploma from Grant MacEwan University.

She works in multiple Art mediums such as:

- Scratchboard
- Needle Felting
- Manipulation of old China into pendants and key chains

Judith Kathleen McNeill Chantler

Artist and Teacher. Graduated Honours from Lakehead University 1972 with an Ontario Teaching Certificate specializing in primary education. Worked for the Lakehead School District in Thunder Bay as a supply teacher in the primary grades until 1992 .Then proceeded with a degree in English and a minor in Art and Criminal Law obtaining a second degree at Lakehead University. In 2000 was hired by the Calgary Catholic School District to teach Art, Beauty and Culture as well as Esthetics and Cosmetology and Legal Studies for St. Mary's High School, Calgary. I continue to teach upon request.

Art is a passion but one that has had to take a back seat to my teaching, now that I'm retired, I devote and channel that passion into my work for the sheer pleasure of it. And will continue to learn share and show for the enjoyment of others as well as the furthering and evolving of my own knowledge and style of my work.

Oral Unland
Born in Ponoka Alberta in 1959.

He resides in Morinville.

He is a self-taught artist in acrylic on canvas and wood carving combining wood and metals.

He is musically inclined self-taught on guitar, mandolin and the violin.

Oral loves working with wood as it is the most versatile product on the face of the earth.

He has been an artist all his life.

Marlon Higgins
I am Metis, a native Edmontonian, who lives and works here. I am 49 years old, married with a son and daughter and one dog. I have been an artist since the age of 14, started with sketching and coloring and moved on to sculpting and woodcarving in my 20's, recently began painting and airbrushing as well. I have no formal training as an artist, everything I do from drawing to carving is self-taught.

Come by, meet some amazing artists, and find your feel good at the Find Boutique on Jasper.

There will be coffee and treats available onsite and a fun treasure hunt valued at over $50. The only way to win is to come in and hunt!
