Find Edmonton has been on a mission to raise $3600 in community donations in order to put together 12 holiday hampers for deserving Housing First participants to be delivered over the holidays. 

The baskets will include food, gift cards and items to help make the holidays a little bit easier for those who have recently been housed. 

To date, we have raised $2600 dollars through our hamper programs throughout the year and are hoping to raise an additional $1000 with our donation program running December 1st to the 15th. 

Starting Saturday December 1st, you can purchase a snowflake at check out with all money going towards the program. The snowflakes will be available at both stores until December 15th. 

New this year, we will also be offering a "by donation" wrapping station at the Find Retail + Donation Centre. Customers can have their purchases wrapped from 12pm-4pm Monday through Friday for a minimum donation of $2. Customers also have the opportunity to bring in their own gifts to be wrapped. Depending on how busy the station gets, you may be asked to wait or to pick up your gifts at a later time. All gifts will be securely kept until you can pick them up. 

We are so proud of the amazing support we have received so far for this initiative and can't wait to crush our goal! The more money we raise, the more hampers we can distribute! 

Members of the Find team will be delivering the hampers on Tuesday December 18th. 

A great way to start the holiday season for those who can use a hand up.
