FIND is looking for a Driver/Swamper to join our team on a one-year contract. This hands-on role plays a key part in helping furnish homes for individuals and families moving out of homelessness.
As a Driver/Swamper, you’ll work as part of a delivery team responsible for safely picking up and delivering furniture and home goods throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas. This position is fast-paced, physical, and focused on teamwork, safety and respectful service.
What you’ll do
- Pick up and deliver furniture and home goods across the community
- Load and unload items safely and efficiently
- Work closely with team members to complete daily routes
- Provide friendly and respectful service during pickups and deliveries
- Maintain safety standards while handling and transporting items
- Navigate routes throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas
What we’re looking for
- Strong focus on safety
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Comfort with physical, hands-on work and heavy lifting
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with Edmonton roadways is an asset
