This Earth Month, FIND is proud to partner once again with IKEA for a special Furniture Donation Drive — and you’re invited to be part of the impact.

On Saturday April 19 from 10am-2pm, IKEA Edmonton is hosting a donation event in support of FIND’s mission to furnish homes for individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness. But this isn’t just about furniture — it’s about sustainability, community, and second chances.

Donate 2 or more items in good condition, free of rips/tears or pet damage Ikea will generously give IKEA Family members who donate a coupon valid for $20 off a purchase of $100+ (before taxes; valid April 19-26, 2025) while quantities last. Conditions apply.  

We are also so happy to have Jake Ryan from Play 107 onsite with us until 1pm.

Giving Furniture a Second Life

Every year, tons of usable furniture ends up in the landfill. At FIND, we believe there’s a better way. By donating gently used furniture, you’re not only reducing waste — you’re helping someone create a safe, stable and comfortable home. Together with IKEA, we’re giving preloved pieces a powerful new purpose.

How You Can Help

• Drop off your gently used furniture at IKEA Edmonton from 10-2pm on Saturday April 19th.

• Talk to the FIND team onsite to learn more about our work and how you can be part of the solution to ending homelessness.

• Spread the word — tell your friends and family how they can support both the planet and their community this Earth Month.

At FIND, we furnish homes — for free — for individuals moving out of homelessness. Each donation helps us provide essential items like sofas, tables and more to people who are starting fresh. Earth Month is the perfect time to reflect on how our choices impact the world around us — and how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
