Happy Fall, Finders! The air is crisp and the leaves are getting crispier!

We take this time to reflect on the summer and all the great work we were able to accomplish with support from our community! Over 500 people were housed through the Housing First program over the summer months into over 300 homes filled with community donations! We are so grateful for the incredible support from our supporters to make this happen.

We are so proud to announce that in September, Find furnished 128 homes with community donations, as 186 people moved out of homelessness through the Housing First program. 

As this time of year approaches, we know that as the weather gets colder, our drive to support the housing of as many participants as possible rises and we need YOUR help to accomplish this task. 

Furniture inventory levels are lower than we have seen in past years and we need the community's support to get the warehouse filled! When at capacity, we deliver 60 of each item PER WEEK for the Housing First program. That's a lot of furniture!

What are we in need of most?

- Couches

- Loveseats 

- Dressers

- Apartment sized kitchen tables 

- TV stands

If you or someone you know has items to donate, Find is open 10am-6 daily and accepts donations at the tent in the parking lot of 5120 122 street every day! 

If you have items but can't drop off, we offer free pick up for items we can use for the Housing First program! Call our team at 780 988 1717 or use the handy dandy form on our website at www.findedmonton.com. Please note: we are booking into mid November for pick ups.
