We get a lot of questions when it comes to what we can and cannot accept for donations.

It's been a while since we've looked at the list and we decided it was time to go through it and make some changes. With these changes, we considered customer and donor feedback, as well as donation centre and staff capacity, and we have come up with a great list we are excited to share with you all.

We now accept bed frames and headboards, smaller exercise equipment and sporting goods, computers & tvs, and many other items we haven't otherwise been able to accept in the past. 

There were a few things we had to keep on the list that we cannot accept and those items are due to safety regulations or safety concerns for our staff. These items include baby items, large reclining couches, large china cabinets and entertainment units and building supplies.

With the holidays coming up, donations tend to go down which leaves our Housing First participants without quality items for their new homes. While you are reading through our new donation list, please consider making a donation to Find or encouraging your friends and family to make a donation of couches, dressers, tables and chairs.
