Recently, an initiative called Recovery For All started in partnership with the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness with a goal of having Canadians end homelessness for good.
Recovery for All is a national advocacy campaign designed by the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness, asking Canadians to encourage the federal government to make bold investments in housing, homelessness and income support to end homelessness in Canada, once and for all.
With the right investments on the heels of COVID-19, Canada can create jobs, kick start the economy, and begin to end homelessness all at the same time. Recovery For All is aiming to get over 10,000 Canadians to join them in this campaign to help make this happen.
They are introducing a 6 point plan that focuses on changing policy, ending poverty, creating jobs and affordable housing, and focusing on marginalized populations. You can read more about the 6 point plan here.
We are at a unique moment in time when big change is possible. With proven models to follow and with your help, we can end homelessness.
