Have you been wondering how many people have been provided with essential furnishings in November through the Housing First program? Well, we have some exciting news to share with you! In this post, we will be announcing the latest numbers and highlighting the impact that this program has had on individuals and families in our community.

Housing First is a program that aims to provide stable and permanent housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. In the month of November, Find was able to furnish 133 homes for participants in the Housing First program with community donations, supporting 220 people in the housing first program. These furnishings include beds, sofas, tables, chairs, tv stands, dressers, and other essential items.

The impact of these furnishings goes beyond just providing physical comfort. They have helped create a sense of belonging and stability for those who have been previously living on the streets or in temporary shelters. Having a furnished home allows individuals and families to focus on their new journey.
