Find has been busy in the month of November! 

As we continue to see the numbers rise during this pandemic, it became very clear that we needed to shift our focus from housing to housing more. Homes save lives and we want as many people as possible to be safe in their own space.

We are happy to report that we were able to increase the number of Housing First furnishings from 6-7 a day to 11-14 a day with the addition of another truck to support helping as many people move out of homelessness as possible in the coming months. 

We are so excited to say that the Housing Teams across the city have been working so hard to find and secure homes for Housing First participants and together we were able to furnish a total of 174 homes and help 248 people move out of homelessness (190 adults and 58 kids). This is a huge increase from our regular numbers and we are so happy to be able to provide for some many in these trying times. 

We can't thank our housing teams, donors and customers enough for helping us make these homes complete for our most vulnerable friends. 

With that said, we really need your help to keep this going and make sure everyone gets what they need for their new homes. 14 homes a day means a minimum of 70 couches/love seats, dressers, dining sets and other needed items A WEEK.
