Every year, communities across Canada mark National Housing Day on November 22, as a day to raise awareness about the importance and need for affordable housing.
This year, we’re excited to welcome Cheryll Case, Founder and Executive Director of CP Planning, as our keynote speaker for this special luncheon. Cheryll leads a non-profit network implementing a human rights-based approach to planning, prioritizing improving access to housing, jobs, and living standards, particularly for marginalized groups. Headquartered in Toronto, CP Planning supports leaders in Cities across Ontario, including Ottawa, Peel, Markham, and Hamilton.
Her keynote will focus on how affordable housing contributes to economic resiliency and creates opportunities—not just for individuals, but for communities as a whole. She’ll share practical insights from her work on how smart planning can lead to more sustainable, inclusive growth.
