Find is incredibly excited to announce that the Edmonton Tool Library has partnered with us to create some very cool small tool packages to give to Housing First participants to support minor repairs around their homes and give them the opportunity to hang the art and décor that they get from their picks. Ii
The Edmonton Tool Library is a registered not-for-profit society in Edmonton which provides affordable access to hand, power, and garden tools for its members.
They accept mainly financial donations, but do accept screwdrivers (with the bits!), pliers, tape measures (in working order), hammers and other essential tools for a homeowner for the Housing First program. We are so grateful for the support of the Edmonton Tool Library in putting these great little packages together for the Housing First program.
It is incredible the amount of essential items it takes to set up a home and partnerships like these take so much stress off of someone starting over through Housing First!
