July just flew by with a ton of furniture requests from our Housing First partner agencies helping individuals and families moving out of homelessness. 

We are so grateful to our community for assisting us to provide furniture and home goods for 118 homes over the month of July and helping 169 people move out of homelessness into their safe, comfortable new spaces. 

Ending homelessness really is a community effort and we cannot do it without the incredible support and donations we get from you, Edmonton. 

Usually around this time of year we would be announcing the date of our annual Donation Drive and Community BBQ, but this year things are a little different. 

We have thought long and hard about the decision to hold our annual donation event, but decided that for the health and safety of our staff, Housing First participants, donors and customers, it was best to wait until next year to host the party pf the year. 

With that said, we still really need your help in getting donations for our Housing First participants as we are housing folks and furnishing more homes than ever right now!

Donations we are in most need of:
*Couches
*Love seats
*Chairs
*Dining Tables
*Kitchen chairs
*Dressers

Throughout the month of August, please consider donating your gently used furniture and homes goods to Find to help families and individuals moving out of homelessness create a safe and comfortable environment in their new homes.

Donations can be dropped off any time during regular hours (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 9am - 6pm, Thursday 9am - 8pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am - 5pm) at 5120 122 Street. We have a tent set up in the parking lot for curbside drop offs. Easy peasy!

Please note we are closed Wednesday August 12th for staff training.
